Hi, I'm Andy Kim!

Hello welcome to my personal portfolio website! My name is Andy Kim, and I am a 3rd year mechanical engineering student at the University of Waterloo. With a strong passion for computer-aided design, analysis and simulation, I have gained extensive experience in CAE tools such as ANSYS and Abaqus, as well as CAD tools such as CATIA V5 and SolidWorks. My ultimate goal is to become a designer & analyst in the automotive, aerospace, or consumer goods electronics industry. I am seeking Winter and Summer 2025 internship opportunities to develop my expertise further.

Moreover, I had the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills to real-world engineering challenges through my internships at German Aerospace Center (DLR) and Pratt & Whitney. This experience has given me a deeper understanding of the industry and strengthened my problem-solving and teamwork abilities. I am excited to continue learning as a designer and analyst and look forward to sharing my journey with you through this website.
